Outreach Manager
The Outreach Manager is a storyteller, movement builder, and community ambassador who implements the communications and engagement aspects of Depave’s mission, vision, and strategic plan. The Outreach Manager plays a pivotal role engaging and facilitating volunteers in Depave’s work so that our relatively small organization continues to have an outsized impact.
The Outreach Manager trains our volunteer depavers and leads large volunteer depaving events. This involves heavy lifting and manual labor in 3 seasons of PNW weather. Successful applications will reference relevant experience or capacity to perform this work.
$70-75,000, commensurate with experience

Site Stewardship Contractor
Help pilot Depave’s new stewardship model by catalyzing local communities of care around neighborhood greenspaces. The community stewardship contractor organizes local volunteers, workforce development crews, corporate/business teams, and partners to fulfill expert-informed site maintenance plans for Depave’s green schoolyards and other community sites.
This initial contract is designed for an estimated workload of 30 hrs per week for 6 months, at an estimated $40/hr total or around $28,800.
Employment Status: Contract/temporary/hybrid

Internships
Fulfill internship credits or build your resumé and skills while helping to grow the international depaving movement. Depave has a variety of pathways for interns, including in outreach and education, multimedia storytelling, research, projects in urban planning and design, tactical urbanism, urban heating, Indigenous solidarity and partnerships, national and international depave organizing and research, natural climate solutions, public plazas and safe streets, and applied climate resilience.
We’re happy to tailor intern scopes of work to fit individual timing, skills, and curriculum or employment goals. We also love establishing long term partnerships with schools and intern programs.
