Join Care Corps & Urban Forestry for a special event at Morning Star!

All ages and ability welcome! Alternative activities available.

Join Depave’s Care Corps program and Urban Forestry for a day of community and tending to the naturescape at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.  

Volunteers will participate in maintaining the native planting areas through hand weeding, mulching, and will have the opportunity to learn the basics of pruning young trees to support growth and establishment.

Coffee and morning snacks will be provided, and we’ll end the day with a shared lunch at 11:30am.
