Depaving Event at Bike Works

Join us on October 11 for a depaving event at Bike Works, a social purpose enterprise bike shop managed by the nonprofit p:ear. This multi-phased depave project will entail removing asphalt to create space for a food garden, native and edible landscaping, and a cistern overflow/rain garden/bioswale. The site will become part of the larger Rosewood Community Food Forest.

In addition to providing high quality bike repair, Bike Works by p:ear builds pathways for youth, ages 15-25, to end their homelessness and begin the journey out of poverty by providing meaningful job training opportunities and continuing bike mechanic education.
